Gladys at Columbia Hair Salon has been cutting my hair for the last 2 years and she is simply amazing. She always does an incredible job and is very kind. I can show her any picture and she will recreate it perfectly. The prices are also very affordable. Definitely recommend Gladys for all your hair needs.

Since moving to DC, I've been a bit concerned about the astronomical prices that some hair salons charge for the services they provide. That was definitely not the case here at Columbia Hair Salon. I was welcomed as a walk in, and taken care of immediately! Gladys washed and cut my hair, and did a pretty great job with it. For context, I have extremely thick hair, and also was not quite sure what I should do with it, style-wise. She truly took her time with me and made me feel like a valued customer. 100% would recommend this salon, both for its wonderful service and reasonable prices. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my cut, and excited to come back here again.

Called the day of and got an appointment within an hour !
I was in a panic cause I had a flight to catch and I had messed up my hair tremendously but Gladys did an awesome job on my hair!! very detailed ... very thorough and nice ..... she even blew it straight for me !!! Not expensive at all ..... Gladys SAVED THE DAY !!!

I needed an emergency haircut, and Googled hair salon nearby and found Columbia Hair Salon. I called the salon and they were courteous and able to squeeze me into their busy schedule on the same day within an hour. Gladys was a lovely and pleasant person. She truly impressed me with her skills. She never did my hair before but was not shy to do a big cut and styled it perfectly as shown in the photo.

Gladys is a very talented stylist, and so kind. I got a trim that turned out to be one of the best haircuts I’ve had in years - and for a reasonable price! I called a day ahead and was able to get an appointment the next morning. Will definitely be back!
